This was K.M. Smiths’ first sharing of ‘News & Events’ with the community on 5th June, 1886, when Kate Mary Smith submitted an ‘Undertaker’s Notice’ in The Brisbane Courier. We respectfully continue to share our news and event items with the Brisbane community today…
The Lions Club of Golden Valley Keperra, proudly supported by K.M.Smith Funeral Directors, hosted children and families at the recent World Festival of Magic. The show provided much needed joy and laughter for those who would simply be unable to afford such an outing, with one family saying it all: "The opportunity to attend such events without financial strain is genuinely cherished by us."

Brisbane's Italian Magazine, Rintocchi, celebrates 40 years this month. Following a mass at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Wooloowin, many gathered to celebrate their success with beautiful food and wonderful speeches. K.M.Smith Funeral Directors were presented with an award by Director Dino Varricchio and Journalist Carmela Bozzi, (pictured here with Fr Luis Antonio Diaz Lamus CS), for our proud long-time support of Rintocchi.
